The South Africa born Canadian-American inventor, entrepreneur, investor, social media celebrity and one of the world’s richest person Elon Musk in a recent Twitter conversation has revealed that he is unafraid to die. It all started when a Twitter user with the username @Grimezsz wrote, “Death is a choice and you will never catch me making it”. To this Elon replied with a tweet saying, “I will welcome death when it comes.”
The founder of SpaceX is known to often speaking his mind out on social media. Many a time his tweets have caused controversies. Last year when he announced that his company Tesla Motors will be accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment, it caused the price of Bitcoin to skyrocket and more than double in price and when a couple of months ago he announced that Tesla will no longer be accepting Bitcoin because of environmental reasons, the price of almost all the cryptocurrencies plummeted.
Carrying on the conversation around death, another user asked him whether he would accept the deaths even if it’s not on Mars. The user wrote, “Even if it’s not on Mars?” to which the business magnate said, “Preferably, on Mars”.
The entrepreneur is the biggest advocate and promoter of the cause of the colonisation of Mars by humanity. He has never shied away from accepting his admiration for the Red Planes whether be it on interviews, on social media, or any other platform.
Elon Musk has been talking about his interplanetary ambitions for almost two decades and as of today, his space exploration company SpaceX is developing a vehicle, Starship that be a fully reusable transport system capable of carrying up to 100 people to Mars.
He even shared a black-and-white picture of the Starship prototype on his Twitter handle a week ago.
