Farhan Akhtar is all set for his forthcoming film, ‘Toofan’ set for an over-the-top release. This movie characterizes his role as a boxer. It is directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, who brandish the microphone for Farhan’s famous film “ Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.” This film also stars Paresh Rawal, Murnal Thakur, Vijay Raaz, and Supriya Pathak. Toofan is ready to knock on Amazon Prime Video on July 16.
In a current discussion, he reveals his intention of going back to the directorial reins in the forthcoming future. Letting the cat out of the bag on the same, Farhan confesses to a news portal that he ruminates about direction every time he completes a film. Even though he did not mention any particular name, Farhan added that he would direct a movie optimistically in the coming future.
Following his previous directorial, ‘Don 2’, the actor-cum-director has concentrated chiefly on his acting profession. Still, reports of him preparing for ‘DON 3’ have constantly circulated, but Farhan Akhtar never authenticates any of those reports.
While talking with a news media, he revealed that he has no intention to work on ‘DON 3’ in the upcoming future as he is already super indulging in his acting commitments. Further, he also mentions that he has been asked this question several times before, too, but it didn’t include in his current plans.
Akhtar started his directorial debut in 2001 with ‘Dil Chata Hai’ and carried out projects like ‘Lakshya’ in 2004 and ‘DON’ in 2006.

I do feel lucky with the kind of work I have gotten to do over the years. When things come your way, it’s difficult to say no because they are so exciting”.
Explaining additionally, he mentioned, “ you have a design for your life, but life has a design for you. So you have to look for the right balance. But I have also been working towards my directorial reins while looking for acting opportunities.”
