In the special episode of KBC, Farah khan recalls incident where we indirectly scolded Amit Ji. Actor Deepika Padukone and Choreographer Farah Khan, graced the show of KBC. In the episode, Bachchan asks Deepika, “Has Farah ever scolded you on set?” She answers, “When does she not scold?” Farah says, “This is not right!”
The special episode seemed to be fun, where three stars were seen sharing the incidents happened with them.
Deepika complained to Bachchan about Ranveer Singh. She said that Ranveer has not fulfilled a promise to her. “He had once promised to cook breakfast for me and he still has not,” she said. As Amitabh called Ranveer, he told Deepika, “Instead of giving him my warm regards, you are complaining about me?” He also promised to cook for Deepika. “Amitabh sir ne bol dia hai. Ab tujhe main godd mein bitha ke omelette khilauga (Now that Amitabh sir has said, it, I will put you in my lap and feed you omelette).” Farah Khan told him that Big B has only asked him to cook, not to feed Deepika on his lap.
Deepika spoke about suffering from depression. In 2014, she was diagnosed with depression. Deepika Padukone also revealed how she got to know that she was suffering from depression She also gave a surprise visit to the homes of some people who are dealing with depression and consoled them by saying that, “I am with you in this.”
While talking about the symptoms of depression she said, “Sometimes I randomly started to cry, while the other moment I was ok, I was also dealing with stomach issues. One day my mom dad visited me and when they were leaving I started to cry again, that was the time when my mom figured it out that I was suffering from inside. She then advised me visit a doctor.”
In 2016, The Chhapaak actress launched an organisation program called You Are Not Alone, which aims to create awareness and normalise conversations on mental health issues among teachers and parents.
Farah Khan, on the show revealed that she would contribute the money earned towards a very expensive injection for a child, Ayaansh, suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a rare disease affecting child’s nervous system.
A tearful Farah said in Hindi, “By the time Ayaansh turns two, there’s a medicine called Zolgensma, which is the world’s most expensive injection. It costs ₹16 crore. And it could save his life. We want to save this child, sir.” Amitabh said, “I don’t know if I should say this, but Farah, I would like to contribute personally as well. I will tell you the amount later, I don’t want to discuss it here.”
Big B enacted Deepika’s iconic scene ‘Ek Chutki Sindoor Ki Keemat’ from the film ‘Om Shanti Om’ under Farah Khan’s direction.
Deepika made her debut with ‘Om Shanti Om’. When asked about her favourite film, she said ‘Piku’ is her favourite film. “I am walking out,” responded Farah Khan. Farah Khan had an ROFL reaction to Deepika’s statement, following which, Deepika revised her words and said both Om Shanti Om and Piku are her favourite movies.
While the Sholay actor asked them to make more pleas, Khan simply offered one of her kids to him. Sir abhi hum kya karege, mera ek baccha lelo (What else can I offer? Take one of my kids),” she said. This left both Bachchan and Padukone in splits.
