Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been dearly waiting for the release of the much-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home’s trailer but Sony has been just a bit too protective about the upcoming movie.
As of now only the title of the film has been released in a short video with the actor Tom Holland who appears in the titular role of Spider-Man aka Peter Parker, Zendaya who plays MJ, the love interest of Peter along with Jacob Batalon who plays Peter’s sidekick Ned.
But, to everyone’s surprise, a video surfaced on the internet claiming to be the leaked trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home and got fans excited. It was on the trending tab in no time until Sony’s team took it down. But it was too late as lots of people had already downloaded it and kept sharing it on their respective social media pages and Sony just kept on taking them down.
Now textual descriptions of the trailer have been doing rounds on social media.
Now Tom Holland shared a cryptic story on his Instagram saying, “You ain’t ready,” suggesting the official trailer is not too far away.
The last film of the series ended on a cliffhanger as Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker was exposed by Mysterio and was outed by an even surprising appearance of JK Simmons’ J Jonah Jameson who also played the role in Sam Raimi’s Spide-Man hinting at an upcoming multiverse.
As of now, it is assured that the movie is set in a multiverse as Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina will reprise the role of Electro and Doctor Octopus from previous Spider-Man franchises.
Benedict Cumberbatch will also reprise his character Doctor Strange, who will assume the role of Peter’s mentor now that Tony Stark is gone.
The film is set to release worldwide on 17th December this year and is rumoured that Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also reprise the role of their respective Spider-Man.
