It turns out that Covid-19 is not the only thing spreading like wildfire. There is a video of a boy in a school singing a song titled Bachpan ka Pyaar in a peculiar manner which has caught the attention of netizens. The social media application Instagram is overflowing with reels where people are recreating that video and also adding their flavour to it.
It turns out that the boy who sung that song is named Sahdev Dirdo belongs to Raipur and comes from a highly Naxal affected district of Sukma.
The video was shot in 2019 in the boy’s school by his teacher and at that time he was 10.
The boy in no time has become an Internet sensation and everyone from actors to politicians seem to have noticed him. Turns out he has already made his place in many hearts, and one of his fans also include Bollywood rapper-composer Badshah. Badshah shared a reel on Instagram acting on the remix version of the song. Turns out he was so impressed by the boy that he has called Sahdev down to Chandigarh and is even willing to sing a duet with him. Sahdev has reportedly accepted the offer and came to Chandigarh from Chhattisgarh to meet the rapper.
A few days ago Chattisgarh CM shared a news article about the viral video on his Twitter handle applauding the boy with the caption in hindi, “Sahdev ko bachpan mein Chhattisgarh aur Poore desh ka itna saara pyaar mil raha hai. Main iss bachche ke ujjwal bhavishya ki kaamna karta hoon (Sahdev, in his childhood, has received so much love from Chhattisgarh as well as the entire country. I am sending him my best wishes).”
Yesterday, he even met the 12-year-old Sahdev in Raipur, felicitated him and even encouraged the boy and asked him to sing Bachpan Ka Pyaar after congratulating him.
Even Mumbai police seem to have joined the bandwagon and tweeted, “Was your bachpan ka pyaar a secret? Then your password might still be safe. Just add a few special characters to it!” along with a picture asking their followers to add special characters to passwords so as to secure it. In the graphic that accompanied the post, Mumbai Police shared the lyrics of the song that goes, “Jaane Meri Jaanemann, Bachpan Ka Pyaar Mera, Bhool Nahi Jaana Re,” to further elaborate on their point.
The original Bachpan Ka Pyar is a track that was released in 2019 with vocals by Kamlesh Barot.
