Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, animal husbandry and fisheries minister has said that Uttar Pradesh government will start a service of ambulatory for ill cows.
According to news agency PTI, in Mathura, Chaudhary told reporters, “Akin to the 112 emergency service number, the new service would pave the way for the speedy treatment of seriously ill cows.”
Probably this scheme is going to be the first in the country. According to the minister 515 ambulances will take be there in the service of cows. After the request, ambulance will reach within 15-20 minutes and the ambulance will have a veterinary doctor and two assistants.
The minister said that, for receiving complaints, a call centre at Lucknow will be set, and it will start by December.
The breed improvement programme of state will increase with the free high-quality semen and technology of embryo transplant. This technology will help the sterile cows into high milk yielding animals. It will act as revolution in UP said Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary.
This project will start in eight districts that include Mathura.
