Philanthropist and Bollywood actor is back in the news. For the past one and a half years he has been involved in helping poor and underprivileged people of the society and is constantly busy in Covid -19 Relief activities ever since the lockdown began last year in March.
This time he has set up an Oxygen plant at a government hospital in Nellore. After the plant was set up, many people of Nellore thanked the actor for his constant efforts and covid-19 relief activities with a thunderous applaud.
Ever since the first lockdown began in March end of 2020. The actor came forward during the migrant crisis and helped the migrants from all over the country to reach their homes safely. He also arranged for food for those who were deprived of loss of their work as daily wage laborers. Then he also helped many kids orphaned due to Covid-19.
When the Second wave struck India in April-May this year he helped people procure medical supplies including life-saving drugs, oxygen cylinders, and hospital beds.
He is determined to help out as many people as possible amid the Covid-19 Pandemic, from delivering oxygen cylinders to helping the needy get proper medical attention to now setting up oxygen plants, he is giving his best for the cause.
Last month he promised to set up 18 Oxygen plants across various states of India. He had said that he will set up oxygen plants in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and many others.
After setting the plant, he shared a video on social media showing that the truck carrying the oxygen plant was met with a loud cheer and celebrations from the people of Nellore. He wrote “I am happy that the first oxygen plant has been installed at a government hospital in Nellore. A huge thanks to the local people and the doctors there for helping us out in this. This is just the start of the oxygen plant installation drive. Many more are to come. They will get set up across many states in the country. Stay positive. Jai Hind”.
