From November 1, Thailand is allowing fully vaccinated travellers from 46 countries. Countries include the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK) and China etc. This move will likely boost tourism, as country’s economy is depend on it. Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, on thursday, informed that travellers coming from 46 different countries need not to quarantine themselves, if they are fully vaccinated and have a proof of covid-19 free.
European Union, Australia, Singapore, Canada, Israel, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong are few of the countries which includes quarantine free travel. It was earlier announced by Thailand government that quarantine would come to an end for 10 countries that include the US, China, the UK and Singapore.
Government two days ago, said that Thailand airport is all set to welcome quarantine-free travellers.
As per news agency Reuters, transport minister Saksiam Chidchob told reporters after paying a visit to Bangkok’s Don Muang airport on Wednesday, “The entire time a visitor will spend from getting through the terminal gates to leaving the airport would take no more than 25 minutes.”
Chidchod said travellers and investors from at least 10 countries that are in health-safe zones and are also doing great financially could visit Thailand.
As per Royal Gazette that was issued on Thursday, the capital city of Bangkok and other key tourist spots will be reopened once the curfews are lifted at the end of this month.
